Due to a recent change in the Liverpool Rod and Gun Club bylaws, all current members as well as prospective members must be members of the NRA (National Rifle Assoc.) Proof of NRA membership will be required with renewal payment in the form of a copy of the NRA member card or the label from one of the NRA magazine publications. The magazine label must have the renewing members name, address, NRA member number as well as membership expiration date. On April 1, each year all memberships that have not been renewed will be terminated without exception.

This will be a CMP sanctioned event governed by 2016 CMP Rules
Garand, Springfield, Vintage Military, Modern Military
Unlimited Garand, 100 yard Carbine Match (relay #4)
Course of Fire
All classes will fire the CMP Course "A"
Unlimited shots in 5 minutes (sighting)
10 rounds in 10 minutes slow fire prone
10 rounds in 80 seconds rapid fire prone from standing
10 rounds slow fire standing
All Fired from 200 yards
40 round CMP Carbine Match will be fired at 100 yards.
Liverpool Rod and Gun Club does not have pits all scoring will be done on the target line.
Event will be limited to 4 relays ( Relay #4 will be a Carbine match)
Awards: CMP achievement award Pins will be awarded for all rifle classes on the cut-score system.

COURSE OF FIRE. The CMP Rimfire Sporter course of fire calls for firing 70 total rounds, with up to 10 sighting or practice shots and 60 shots for record. Firing is done in seven stages of 10 shots each. A new target or replacement center is normally hung for each stage. The first five stages are fired at 50 yards distance. The last two are fired at 25 yards distance.
--Stage 1, 50 yards, up to 10 sighting shots, prone position, 10 minute time limit. All 10 sighting shots do not have to be fired. A rest or support may be used in this stage only.
--Stage 2, 50 yards, 10 shots for record, prone position, 10 minute time limit.
--Stage 3, 50 yards, two series of five shots for record, standing to prone, rapid-fire, time limit is 25 seconds for semi-autos, 30 seconds for manually operated rifles.
--Stage 4, 50 yards, 10 shots for record, sitting or kneeling position, 10 minute time limit.
--Stage 5, 50 yards, two series of five shots for record, standing to sitting or kneeling position, rapid-fire, time limit is 25 seconds for semi-autos, 30 seconds for manually operated rifles.
